Michael Delaney is a 59 year old who lives in Brisbane, QLD, and has been a Telstra shareholder for 10 years.

If I were Telstra’s CEO I would...Develop a one stop customer service facility or at least a ring back facility. Over the past 5 months I have spent in excess of 300 hours in conversation with Telstra employees trying to get a basic service and I still don't have that. For no income to Telstra, Telstra has expended in excess of 400 man hours of resources and that continues. If I could have spoken to only ONE person who knew the local area my problem could have been solved on day 1.

If you asked me what I did, I'd say...Retired

I bought most of my Telstra shares in...T2

I bought Telstra shares because...I believed the hype

My first successful investment was...carphone group

The best investment I ever made was...supercheap auto

What I learned from my worst investment decision...Don't trust politicians

The best investment advice I’ve ever been given...Buy where you can trust the service
