Joan Habib is a hard working cleaner and home maker who lives in Adelaide, SA, and has been a Telstra shareholder for 10 years.

If I were Telstra’s CEO I would...Make it the largest Telco in Australia, as well as one of the country's biggest companies.

If you asked me what I did, I'd say...Household duties

I bought most of my Telstra shares in...2006, however I also own T1 and T2.

I bought Telstra shares because...I have confidence in the company and it's management.

My first successful investment was...Woolworths.

The best investment I ever made was...Buying the second issue of CBA shares.

What I learned from my worst investment decision...Be patient, because sometimes shares do improve.

The best investment advice I’ve ever been given...I haven't received any advice, I just decided to invest.

How I use telecommunications now...To email my children who live overseas and interstate. I also use my mobile phone if I need to contact them urgently.

How I see the future of telecommunications in Australia...That Telstra be given equal encouragement, as is being given to it's competitors.
