Henry Jozefowski from Cairns QLD
Henry Jozefowski is a 74 year old who lives in Cairns, QLD, and has been a Telstra shareholder since T1.
If I were Telstra’s CEO I would...
Accept a reasonable wage, not millions of dollars. I would have high-speed broadband accessible to the whole of Australia at a low cost, especially for the older people. I would abolish the public and home phone and supply a small wireless telephone unit to all people at a very low cost and keep the call charges down. I would also have a holiday every year for 4 weeks.
If you asked me what I did, I'd say... Retired
I bought most of my Telstra shares in... T1
I bought Telstra shares because... Advised by my financial advisor.
My first successful investment was... Cannot remember.
The best investment I ever made was... All governed by advisor.
What I learned from my worst investment decision... To believe in my advisor.
The best investment advice I’ve ever been given... As above.
How I use telecommunications now... I use the home phone and slow broadband internet connections.
How I see the future of telecommunications in Australia... Very grim and expensive.
