Read the transcript: Sol Trujillo on the future (PDF - 39KB)
Video format: Flash video
Running time: 2min. 6sec.

"Australia has a chronic resource shortage in health, with an aging population. Replicating hospitals, universities, equipment and expertise in every locality is simply not feasible, or affordable. Australia is also facing considerable climate change challenges."

Now and into the future, telecommunications will allow "... Australians to share information, expertise and equipment securely. This means saving money, time and even lives. It also means saving energy and resources which saves money and causes carbon emission abatement."
