Law firm slams Telstra class action
The Australian newspaper reports that chairman of law firm Maurice Blackburn, Bernard Murphy, has ‘struck out at rival Slater & Gordon, saying the Telstra class action should never have begun’.
Mr Murphy said "…the Telstra settlement yesterday which gave shareholders only 1c per share of loss is a good example of a case that should not have been issued, and legal fees that should not have been required to be paid by the defendant."
