It is probably fair to say that a recurring fear in those with an interest in Telstra has been the departure of Sol, Phil and Greg before the Australian culture adjusted to allow transition to Australian leadership. The talk sponsored by Jeremy Mitchell and answered by David Quilty demonstrates that the transition orchestrated by Sol Trujillo is moving successfully and will be an enormous success. I think it is fair to say that the leadership of the (dare I say Amigos) has shown Australians to speak out, to challenge and to change bad practices and is something that all Australians should be exceptionally grateful for.
