World Youth Day - Behind the scenes video

Pilgrims from World Youth Day and the people of Sydney will have the chance to try out some of the latest in telecommunications technology at Telstra Studios sites in Hyde park and the Domain.

The interactive showcasing sites will allow people to experience the benefits of the Next G™ Network.

Those who consider themselves to be future ‘Australian Idol’ contenders can see how they stack up singing alongside a virtual Guy Sebastian or Paulini to perform the official WYD08 song in the green screen studio. The final cut will be sent to pilgrims via MMS to their mobile.

Watch the video:

Running time: 2min. 53 sec.

Pilgrims and Sydney siders can also show-off their artistic skills by contributing to the Telstra WYD08 mural. The mural is a two story high paint by numbers art work that will grow throughout the week to reveal a secret image. Pilgrims are encouraged to sign the patch they pant to be part of the final image forever. When the mural is completed Telstra will donate it to World Youth Day as a legacy item for future WYD events and Telstra customers will be able to download the image on their mobile phones or as a desktop image.
