Barry Hall’s suspension evidence of Samuel’s legacy

Barry Hall from the Sydney Swans is enjoying a free ride after his seven week suspension handed down by the AFL Tribunal last night, ‘Dr Phil’ Burgess said at the CommsDay Summit today. This is because of the legacy that Graeme Samuel, now head of the ACCC, left when he was an AFL Commissioner – to give free rides to those who don’t deserve it.

“The biggest story in football this week has been Barry Hall and his seven week suspension… and then I got to thinking, wait a minute, Graeme Samuel used to be a commissioner for the AFL. Clearly this is one of the legacy effects of Graeme Samuel – giving somebody a free ride,” Dr Phil said.
