Chris Lovatt in contact on the Next G network

With 200 families accessing our day care and after-care services, it is vital that we are able to be contacted by the parents of the children we have in our care.

We promise the parents that we are contactable seven days a week, from 7am to 7pm - and we work hard to make sure it happens. The Next G™ network helps us keep that promise.

Parents contact us for all sorts of reasons. It might be a simple question about fees or to check on their children while we have them in our care, and we want to be available to them at all times.

We weren’t even able to use the CDMA mobile phones in one of the pre-schools due to lack of coverage. With Next G™, Ruth and I now know that parents can reach us.

My Telstra Turbo Card™ in my laptop delivers high speed internet access, allowing me to keep up to date with pre-school administration, fees, enrolments and quality control.

Do you have a G whiz story to tell?

Tell us your story about how the Next G™ network has transformed your work, social or home life.

About the G whiz stories

The G whiz stories here are based on Telstra Next G™ customers’ own experiences of coverage on the Next G™ network. Like any other mobile network, Next G™ mobile telephone coverage depends in part on where you are, what particular handset you are using and whether your handset has an external antenna attached.
