John Nayler lives and works from his catamaran, using NextG to stay connected

Having taken lightly the advertisements for Telstra Next G, I was taken aback at an excited call from a cruising friend in Townsville. He had just signed up for a Next G phone.

The very next day, I was in a Telstra shop testing Next G video calls with the very same mate, while he sailed out to Magnetic Island!

After trying so many different ways to integrate my consulting business and cruising lifestyle, all the old wireless gear has now been tossed in the bottom draw.

Telstra Next G provides everything that I need. Quality phone and high speed wireless Internet coverage. Now armed with my LG TU500 phone and broadband card, I am finally able to sail the coast and keep fully in touch with friends, family and clients. Thank you Telstra.

I can now live and work from my sailing catamaran, while staying connected at high speed. In addition, I enjoy complete portability. With wireless notebook and phone in carry on luggage, I make quick trips to Brisbane or Sydney without anyone realising.
