I agree with Chris - Yahoooo!!! I can't wait for this super gadget to land in my hot little hands. I am so excited I can barely breathe. I have used a 2G iPhone before so the 3G version coupled with the blistering speed of Next G will just be awesome. I have never been so pleased with the way that a phones operating system works, goodbye Windows OS and hello OS X! Browsing, maps, music, web, email - whats not to love? The revolutionary touch screen operation? The super stylish looks of the device itself? The only thing that worries me in the slightest bit is the lack of fully functional bluetooth and not being able to send pictures by MMS - what the hell did Apple think? Hmmm.. will I get used to sending email and SMS by a touchpad keyboard? I hope so! Bring it on!!!

Awesome news!! Dan in regards to MMS, there is third party software available to do that, so you shouldnt have any problems :) Just hoping data plans are good..

There is already a 3rd party App to allow the iPhone to send and receive MMS and record Videos. You will need to download from the App store when it opens. Do not know if it will cost or be free.

Great to see iPhone being available on NextG from next week. You can already appreciate the spoecifications at http://www.apple.com/iphone/specs.html as well as http://www.phonearena.com/htmls/Apple-iPhone-3G-phone-p_2962.html I would be comparing it closely to another fantastic Mobile Phone/PDA being released by Telstra on the NextG network, the HTC Touch Diamond, see at http://www.htc.com/www/product.aspx?id=46286 The beauty of this one is that it runs the latest Windows Mobile 6.1 OS so there are many applications you can install on it. I wonder how the two compare against each other? We can compare specifications at www.phonearena.com http://www.phonearena.com/htmls/compare_results.php?phones[]=2962&phones[]=2876

With the Next G legs that it didn't have until now, it sure will. And I can't wait to get hold of one.

Guys its 3G not Next G and there is a difference with the speed, although the Iphone 3G will be faster then any GSM phone it is not Next G, it will operate at 3G speeds, correct me if i am wrong. But either way i am looking forward to a device i can use as a PDA (limited i know), MP4 video,MP3 and phone, a camera is just a bonus not a neccisity for me.
