Jon Faine's 4WD being loaded onto the cargo ship to Dilli

Wednesday July 16 - We board the Kathryn Bay in Darwin to go to Dili.

We have handed the car over through Customs to the shipping company, and now we get set to sail (picture - right).

While waiting we have been to Arnhem Land and watched a fella catch a huuuuuuge barramundi at Cahills Crossing on the East Alligator River.

Real crocs were catching barra too - some stupid fisher-folk tempting the crocs by offering them their legs as they fished, but the crocs prefer the fish.

We stayed two nights at Gunbalanya also known as Oenpelli. The community made us feel very welcome, run escorted tours of amazing rock art and we enjoyed a few light beers with our guide Moses at their community run social club.
